The Tallahassee Women Lawyers hosted the second annual Rookie Camp on March 30. The goal of the event is to allow law students and new attorneys the opportunity to meet with local members of the law community. The event is a great platform to get career advice, networking, and to go over topics that aren’t covered in law school. The event consisted of panel discussions on a variety of topics, lunch, and a speed mentoring session. The speed mentoring session is a take away from speed dating in which the young lawyers and law students got a couple minutes with each of the law community members then they rotated at the sound of an alarm.
